Trinidad James
Nicholaus Joseph Williams (born September 24, 1987), better known by his stage name Trinidad James (often stylized as Trinidad Jame$), is a Trinidadian-American rapper and songwriter. In 2012, he signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. The label dropped him in 2014 when he failed to release an album, although he continues to release music as an independent artist and signed to Artist Publishing Group for songwriting in 2018.
In the late 2010s and early 2020s, he focused on a career in songwriting and production. He currently writes and co-produces records for primarily female artists including City Girls, Kehlani, Flo Milli, Queen Naija, and Lakeyah, among others. He has writing or production credits on Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk", Fifty Fifty's "Barbie Dreams", and Bhad Bhabie's "Hi Bich".
